Explore POV 3.0

What's new

Everything in 3.0, as the App Store has it.

• Save Places as I Watch. Most places you stream now save to your headset as they play, as sharp as a download, so they're ready next time, even offline. They only use room your headset can spare, and you can set a limit in Settings.
• Sharper Than Ever. Most places now stream in our new enhanced video format for crisper detail, when your connection allows. Downloads use it too, and each one is checked before it plays. Already downloaded something? Update it to the sharper version in one tap.
• Postcards. While a place plays, tap the camera button on the playback bar, look at the view you love and tap your fingers to take the photo. It becomes a 3D postcard of that moment, with the place's name printed on it. Save it to Photos or share it. The first one you save from each country goes into your passport, and you'll find them under Postcards on your Profile.
• In Your Language. Explore POV now speaks German, Japanese and French, following your Vision Pro's language, and your postcards are printed in it too.
• New Places. 212 places to explore, with new ones in the Dolomites, Montenegro, the Canary Islands and the Philippines.
• Keep Exploring. When a place ends, the next one is ready, so you can keep travelling without taking the headset off.
• Step Inside. Each place now arrives with its name and a loading bar, and fades out softly when you leave.
• Your Travels. Collect a stamp for every country you visit, unlock 50+ achievements, take on the Monthly Challenge, keep your streak alive and climb the worldwide leaderboards.
• About This Place. Open any place to see where you are and what you're looking at.
• This Week's Session. A set of places put together for you, ready to begin in one tap.
• A New Home and Library. See the newest places first, search every place, find the ones you haven't seen yet, and open a page for any country.
• The Digital Crown. Turn it to choose how much of the place surrounds you.
• Apple Immersive Downloads. French Polynesia and Crackling Flames & Crashing Waves can now be downloaded, so our Apple Immersive titles play offline too.
• Redesigned. Sessions have a fresh look: pick a feeling and how long you have, as before, and each one now ends at a natural moment. The globe is rebuilt, with day and night, clouds and city lights, and it flies you to any country you choose. The filters are clearer too: still views, moving views, journeys and more.

Plus dozens of fixes.
