Dawn light catches jagged granite peaks high above the still water of a lake in Chilean Patagonia. The lakes here owe their milky turquoise colour to glacial flour, rock ground to a fine dust by the ice. The name Patagonia goes back to Magellan's expedition of 1520, which called the people it met in the far south Patagones.

What to expect
The camera stays in one place for the full 3 min, so nothing pans or lurches and you set the pace by turning your head. If fast motion in a headset does not agree with you, this is one of the gentler ways in.
