Three granite towers rise above the turquoise glacial lake at their feet, in Chilean Patagonia. Their granite formed about 12.5 million years ago as molten rock cooled underground, and erosion, much of it by glaciers, has since stripped away the softer rock that once covered it.

What to expect
The camera stays in one place for the full 3 min, so nothing pans or lurches and you set the pace by turning your head. If fast motion in a headset does not agree with you, this is one of the gentler ways in.
