Roque Nublo rises from the mountainous centre of Gran Canaria, in Spain's Canary Islands, with flowers growing among the volcanic rock. The rock itself is about 80 metres tall, and its top stands 1,813 metres above sea level. It was formed by a volcanic eruption around 4.5 million years ago.
