Reinebringen
Still view · Calm · 3 minVR180 3DPremium
Reinebringen, 448 metres high, rises over Reine, a small fishing village on the island of Moskenesøya in Lofoten, Norway. From the top you look down on the village, with steep, jagged peaks all around. A long stone stairway, laid by Sherpas from Nepal, now climbs the mountain's steep slope to the ridge.

What to expect
The camera stays in one place for the full 3 min, so nothing pans or lurches and you set the pace by turning your head. If fast motion in a headset does not agree with you, this is one of the gentler ways in.
It is filmed in stereoscopic VR180, which means depth is real: near things sit close, far things stay far, and the mountain reads at proper scale instead of flattening onto a screen. Look up, look to the edges of the frame, and take your time. There is nothing to steer and nothing to learn.
We tag this one relaxing, and it sits in Norway alongside the rest of what we have filmed there. It is included with a subscription.
